Madrid illuminated world globe features an up-to-date blue ocean cartography. When illuminated, it shows mountain elevations, valleys, plains and sea depth details.  Relief is shown by variations in color shades and tones. With the light switched off the political map displays countries in various colors. The map is applied in 17 successive layers inside the globe, thus rendering it resistant to fading and scratching.
