Gemstone globe is handmade with an assortment of semi precious stones that are individually carved into the shape of countries. Precious stones selected from countries around the world and, where possible, show the country of origin. Oceans are made from Lapis Blue gem stone. Latitude, longitude and international date line are added with a fine gold thread. Gem stone globe is positioned on top of a rotating gold plated clock stand which features 2 clocks, each showing a different time zone setting, as well as a thermometer and a hydrometer. Globe Care Instructions: Use a soft cloth with a small amount of rubbing alcohol to shine and remove fingerprints. Clock Stand Care: Use a soft cotton cloth with a very small amount of hand lotion to remove fingerprints. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away the lotion and shine.
