Tactile is an illuminated table top globe. It features a physical map of the Earth with raised relief cartography (small rises on the globe surface indicating major mountainous areas of the Earth. 

Geographical references include continents, countries with current  boundaries, capital and major cities.

Tactile globe has a hardwood base and is mounted in an acrylic semi-meridian. Illuminations is operated by an inline on/off switch. It allows cartographic features to stand out when illumination is enabled.
