Ordering, Shipping and Return Information

How to order
  1. To order by phone: call toll-free 877-822-9889 or 812-333-2772. We are available to take internet orders over the phone from 10:00 am-5:30 pm Eastern Standard Time Monday-Saturday.
  2. To order online: Every item offered on our website can be ordered online using our safe, secure, encrypted shopping cart service 24 hours a day. All other items, such as parts, need to be ordered by phone, email or mail.
  3. Tax Exempt Sales: please provide a copy of your tax exempt certificate.
  4. Educational Institutions: we accept school purchase orders. Please email the official purchase order to traveler@bluemarble.net.
  5. Government Purchases: our standard industry code is 5948.  Please provide your purchase order number.
  6. APO/FPO - Purchases are shipped via US Postal Service only. Please see Shipping Policy below for additional details (item #8).
  7. International Orders:  We welcome orders from outside the United States. Please e-mail or telephone us the full shipping address (including postal code) and the item(s) you would like to order so that we can provide to you the shipping rates. MOVA globes are not eligible for international shipment.
  8. By placing an order on the website customer agrees to all policies stated here.
  9. Discounts: Special orders do not qualify for discounts. Products from MOVA, Kalifano, Zoffoli, Trippensee, Artline and 18" planet globes are not eligible for discounts.


Shipping Policy 

  1. Ground shipping and handling is free of charge to any destination in the continental US (except to Alaska and Hawaii). Items marked as "special order" or "custom made" might have additional shipping cost.
  2. Alaska and Hawaii: Additional shipping charge (depending on shipping size and weight of items purchased) might apply to Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact us for details.
  3. The item(s) you order should arrive within 1-10 days from the time order is placed unless otherwise specified.
  4. Occasionally an item is out of stock in which case we will notify you.
  5. Travel Accessories - we offer US Priority Mail service (2-3 days in transit) for Travel Accessories offered on our website for an additional $7.00. Please be aware that this is not a guaranteed service. When ordering online, please use the Special Instructions section of the Shopping Cart to indicate your agreement to the additional cost for shipping. If you have difficulty finding the Special Instructions section in the online order form, you may send a separate email confirming your agreement to the extra cost for expedited shipping.
  6. Rush Orders will be sent using UPS/FedEx Overnight, 2nd Day Air, or 3rd Day Select (this 3rd option is over ground only). Please contact us to get a quote for rush shipping.
  7. Address Corrections: Our shippers assess additional fees when they attempt deliveries to incorrect addresses, and we must pass this cost to you. $11.00 - $20.00 depending on destination and the shipper.
  8. APO and FPO: Our free shipping offer applies to APO/FPO recipients except for products that are too large to be sent via US Mail, and large size globes which require a shipping and handling fee ranging from $20.00 for desktop globes up to $70.00 for floor globes accepted by US Postal Service for shipment. Home furnishings and luggage that can be accepted for shipment to APO/FPO addresses will have a shipping fee as well. Recipients will be notified prior to order processing in order to authorize this fee.
  9. International Orders:  We welcome orders from outside the United States. Please e-mail or telephone us the full shipping address, postal code and item(s) you would like to order so that we can provide to you the shipping cost required. Please note that shipping rates provided do not include any duties, taxes or other destination fees that may be imposed by destination country. MOVA globes are not eligible for international shipment.
  10. Delivery Date Notification emails (for orders sent via UPS, FedEx, DHL and Priority/Express US Mail) are sent as soon as the tracking information becomes available on UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS websites.


Returns & Exchanges

  1. Replogle globe models the Diplomat and Annapolis will incur a restocking fee of 50% of retail cost plus the cost of shipping if returned. There are no exceptions to this policy.
  2. If customer refuses delivery a restocking fee of 50% of retail cost plus the cost of shipping will be charged.
  3. Custom-made, made-to-order and special order products are non-refundable and not returnable.
  4. Promotional products that have been pre-ordered prior to customizing are non-refundable and not returnable.
  5. To receive a full refund* for the item you want to return, you must contact us beforehand and return the item to: 1st Stop Travel Store, 317 East Dodds St., Bloomington, Indiana 47401. 
  6. You have 30 days from the date of receipt of item ordered to make arrangements with us to return item if so desired.
  7. Christmas Gift Purchases (November 1st through December 31st) may be returned/exchanged by January 31st.
  8. Freight must be prepaid, items must be insured for full retail value, must be unused, and must be new and in re-sellable condition when sent to the address below.
  9. Expedited Shipping Costs are not refundable.
  10. Shipping costs to countries outside the U.S. are not refundable.
  11. We will exchange the item for another or issue a refund if you prefer. 
  12. If you have questions or concerns about your purchase, you must communicate this to us and we'll gladly work with you reasonably and to our mutual satisfaction.
  13. If customer chooses to refuse delivery or cancel the order without prior agreement, the customer will be liable for all shipping costs (to customer's address and return shipping). All  applicable restocking fees will apply as well if the refused shipment is not returned to 1st Stop Travel Store, 317 East Dodds St., Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
Privacy Policy
  1. We DO NOT share, sell or disclose any customer information (names, addresses, credit card information etc.)  to anyone, under any circumstances, period.

  2. We DO NOT create customer profiles, nor collect any information of previously visited websites.

  3. Our Shopping Cart Service - Americart - holds a Secure Web Server Certificate by McAfee.

  4. The only emails we send contain tracking information for orders placed with us, or replies to customer inquiries.




  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo via PayPal, Coinbase.

  • Personal checks ,business checks, cashier checks  and money orders may be used but must be received before shipment will be sent unless other arrangements have been made.
  • Financing Option - PayPal Credit offers "No Interest if paid in full in 6 months on combined purchases of $99 or more."

  • If item ordered is to be received within the state of Indiana, a 7% sales tax is required. California orders will be taxed at 7.25%. All other destinations are tax free.

Chargeback Policy

  • The charge that will appear on your credit card statement will be “www.1ststoptravelstore.com”, “1st Stop Travel Store”, "1st Stop Travel" or "One Stop Travel".

    If you choose to place a chargeback with your credit card company (deny a legitimate purchase - on purpose or by mistake) for any order that you placed and received, there will be a $20.00 fee charged to your account upon receiving the chargeback by our merchant provider to recover applicable chargeback fees we have to pay and to cover our expenses to prove that you did make the purchase.

    Therefore: You agree that if you, the buyer, choose to do business with www.1ststoptravelstore.com, and you file a charge back with your credit card company, without making a reasonable effort to contact us beforehand to find out if the charge is a legitimate one for a purchase you actually made and received, you agree to reimburse us for fees charged to us by paying $20. You, the buyer authorize us to charge this amount to your credit card.


Damage Claims

  1. Very Important: You must inspect merchandise for damage. If there is visible damage to the box (for deliveries which require a signature) you must make a claim with the driver of the shipping company. 
  2. Damage claims for merchandise that arrives damaged that has been left by the driver and that does not require a signature can be made by calling us and we will make necessary arrangements for replacement. 
  3. Keep the box the merchandise came in if the merchandise has arrived damaged, for possible inspection by shipper.
  4. Industry standard cartography misalignment of 1/16" might occur on hand crafted world globes.
